Hallazgos de laboratorio en el síndrome de Klinefelter
Abstract
Se presentan los hallazgos de laboratorio de 78 pacientes con síndrome de Klinefelter. La anemia se encontró en pocos pacientes (11,8%), mientras que la eritrosedimentación se halló acelerada en más de la mitad de los casos. Cinco pacientes presentaron hlper- colesterolemia. Mediante la radiología de tórax, cráneo, silla turca y manos, no se encontraron alteraciones de importancia; sin embargo, en la tercera parte de los casos se comprobaron anomalías de la columna vertebral. La gonadotropinuria estuvo aumentada en la tercera parte de los pacientes, mientras que los 17-cetosteroides y los estrógenos urinarios se hallaron disminuidos o normales en la gran mayoría de los casos. Se realizó histología testícular en 44 pacientes y se discuten los resultados. Aproximadamente el 95% de nuestros pacientes fue cromatín positivo. Las fórmulas cromosómicas más frecuentes fueron 47 XXY y 46 XY/47 XXY.Downloads
