Resultado del tratamiento radiante en los linfomas no hodgkinianos de los adultos. Estudio en una serie de 91 pacientes
Abstract
En el Instituto de Oncología y Radiobiología, en Ciudad de La Habana, durante los años 1973 a 1979, fueron irradiados 91 pacientes adultos, que padecían de linfomas no hodgkinianos, en etapas I (localizada) y II (extensión regional), en los que el tratamiento radiante fue la selección terapéutica básica, con campos únicos o múltiples y dosis variable entre 3 500 y 4 000 rads-tumor, y algunos en etapa III, donde el tratamiento primario fue la quimioterapia. La supervivencia actuaría! de toda la serie a 3 y 5 años es de 55,7% y 54,7%, con 84,4% para los pacientes en etapa I, 55,8% y 52,4% para la etapa II, y 33,8% para la etapa III. La supervivencia fue similar en ambos sexos; asimismo los procesos ganglionares y los de localización extragangiionar no presentaron diferencias significativas en la supervivencia. Solamente a 7 pacientes (7,7%) se les diagnosticó formas nodulares.Downloads
