Enfermedades crónicas no trasmisibles en la población geriátrica de Alamar
Abstract
Se presentan los resultados de un estudio epidémico sobre un grupo de afecciones degenerativas realizado en la población de 65 años y más, de la comunidad de Alamar. Se incluyen los siguientes trastornos: cardiopatía isquémica, hipertensión arterial, enfermedad cerebrovascular, enfermedad arteriobliterativa de miembros inferiores y diabetes mellitus. Se definen los criterios adoptados. Se muestra la prevalencia encontrada en cada enfermedad. Se precisa la frecuencia de cada enfermedad en distintos grupos de riesgo. Se estudia también la interrelación de cada trastorno, que actúa como riesgo, y los restantes. En ambas situaciones se precisa la prevalencia diferencial encontrada entre afectos y no afectos, así como su significación.Downloads
