Púrpura trombocitopénica anticuerpos infecciosos orales en un esplenectomizado por supuesto Werlhoff y curadocon tratamiento etiológico

Abstract

Se presenta un caso de púrpura trombocitopénica por anticuerpos infecciosos por abscesos dentales. El paciente había sido esplenectomizado siete años antes por púrpura trombocitopénica idiopática y mostró antes y después de ella leucocitosis y neutrofilia persistentes, así como trombopenia entre 22,000 y48,0, casi constante. Por esta causa fue ingresado cinco veces en el hospital, siendo tratado con todos los medicamentos modernos, incluyendo 6-mercaptopurina, sin éxito. El tratamiento anti infeccioso primero, seguido del etiológico de extracción de las piezas afectadas y con los antibióticos que actuaban contra los gérmenes aislados, ha logrado la curación del enfermo en más de un año de observación.
