Valor de la gastroscopia en el diagnóstico de la gastritis crónica
Abstract
Se estudian 451 pacientes mediante gastroscopia y biopsia a fin de establecer el valor y la certeza del método endoscópico, contrastado con la biopsia. Estos pacientes presentan gastritis crónica (GC) diagnosticada en un total de 2 000 gastroscopias en el Instituto de Gastroenterología. Se analizan los resultados y se concluye que el método es de alta utilidad, aunque debe ser complementado con la biopsia gástrica. Se destaca la utilidad particular en relación con la GC atrófica, y se analiza la posible causa de un mayor índice de error diagnóstico en las gastritis crónicas antrales.Downloads
