Complicaciones de la diabetes melitus en un área de salud

Abstract

Se estudiaron 75 pacientes diabéticos, de 15 años y más, procedentes del área de salud del Policlínico Comunitario "Louis Pasteur" durante un período que abarcó desde julio de 1983 a abril de 1984. Las complicaciones de la serie fueron: cetoacídosis, retinopatía, neuropatía, cardiopatía coronaria, Hipertensión y nefropatía. Se enfatiza la relación entre el grado de control y la lesión microangiopática. Se compararon los resultados con 2 estudios realizados en el Instituto Nacional de Endocrinología y en el Hospital Docente “Vladimir lllch Lenln", y se destaca la importancia del estudio al nivel del área de salud.
