Estudio clinico experimental del uso del metronidazol en el tratamiento de la úlcera péptica
Abstract
Se reportan los resultados obtenidos con el empleo del metronidazol en 40 pacientes ulcerosos, siendo excelentes los resultados clinico radiológicos. Se administró el medicamento a 17 ratas, previa ligadura del píloro comparándose los resultados con un grupo control, siendo la incidencia de úlcera, mucho menor en el grupo de ratas que recibieron el fármaco. Consideramos que el metronidazol posee un notable efecto anti ulcerogénico, y que su acción se ejerce probablemente por vía sistémica. Creemos que el mismo debe tenerse en cuenta en el arsenal terapéutico de la úlcera gastroduodenal.Downloads
