Estudio evaluativo de los métodos para el diagnóstico de la otitis secretoria en el adulto
Abstract
Se estudia en este trabajo la efectividad diagnóstica de los diferentes métodos utilizados en 140 oídos con otitis media secretoria. A todos se les comprobó la presencia de líquido en el oído medio. Los resultados concuerdan con otros autores y se enfatiza el valor de la impedanciometría en el diagnóstico de esta enfermedad. El reflejo estapedial ausente o con elevación del umbral junto al timpanograma B, resultaron las pruebas más efectivas en nuestros casos. La hipoacusia referida por los pacientes fue el síntoma más frecuente en el interrogatorio.Downloads
