Epidemiología de la hipertensión arterial. Estudio realizado con el personal médico del Hospital Provincial Docente Clinicoquirúrgico de Pinar del Río

Abstract

Se llevó a cabo un estudio epidemiológico sobre la hipertensión arterial en el personal médico del Hospital Provincial Docente Clinicoquirúrgico de Pinar del Río, se tomó una muestra de 40 médicos para ser encuestados los que estuvieron comprendidos en edades entre 24 y 64 años. El 17,5% de la población encuestada fue catalogada como hipertensos. Se analizan los índices de correlación entre esta entidad y otros factores, como: edad, sexo, color de la piel y hábito de fumar. Presentamos los datos encontrados de acuerdo con las características de nuestro estudio en forma de cuadros, y finalmente ofrecemos nuestras conclusiones elaboradas con el análisis comparativo con los hallazgos de otros autores.
