Motivo de consulta y síntomas iniciales más frecuentes en 237 pacientes diabéticos

Abstract

Al estudiar 237 pacientes diabéticos del Policlínico Comunitario Docente "Pedro Borras de Pinar del Río, se insistió en los síntomas que motivaron su primera consulta, y en los que presentaban al diagnosticarse la diabetes. Con estos datos, se analizó el orden de frecuencia de cada uno de los síntomas y se elaboraron tablas en los que se exponen los mismos. Se concluyó que el síntoma inicial más frecuente de la enfermedad fue la astenia, y fue también el que motivó más frecuentemente la consulta inicial en nuestros pacientes. Se hicieron conclusiones y recomendaciones.
