Frecuencia de la úlcera de estrés
Abstract
Se efectuó un análisis retrospectivo de 2 230 protocolos de autopsias, realizadas en el Instituto de Neurología y Neurocirugía, donde se encontró la úlcera de alarma en el 1,8% de las necropsias. Este trastorno fue más frecuente en el curso de enfermedades cerebrovasculares (51%) con predominio en el infarto cerebral. Dado que se trata de enfermos con alto riesgo de sufrir esta complicación, se considera de vital importancia en la prevención de la misma el uso de antiácidos y vagolíticos, cuyo empleo profiláctico en estos pacientes parece ser la explicación de la baja incidencia de la úlcera de estrés en nuestro medio.Downloads
