Hipercolesterolemia asociada con hipotiroidismo. Informe en 60 pacientes
Abstract
Se estudiaron 60 pacientes hipotiroideos, de los cuales 52 (87 %) fueron del sexo femenino y 8 (13%) del masculino, para una proporción 6,5:1, a favor del sexo femenino; se detectó el hipotiroidismo primario en 57 (95 %} de nuestros pacientes y sólo 3 (5 %) se deben a causas secundarias. Se presentó la forma florida de la enfermedad en 25 (41 %) de los pacientes, la ligera en 25 (41 %) de los mismos y en 10 (18%) la forma subclínica de la enfermedad. Se encontró el colesterol elevado en 24 (70 %) de los pacientes hipotiroideos, y se relacionó esto con el tipo clínico de la enfermedad.Downloads
