Estudio de los pacientes admitidos en el Hospital Antituberculoso de la Habana en el año 1969
Abstract
Se realiza un estudio sobre los datos obtenidos en el Hospital Docente Antituberculoso de la Habana, que viene cumpliendo labor de diagnóstico y tratamiento de la tuberculosis dentro del Programa de Control. Del total de enfermos del Hospital evaluados en este informe se confirmó el Mycobacterium Tuberculosis en sólo el 55% de los casos. Se determina que la proporción de pacientes afectados por otras patologías pleuropulmonares, excluida la tuberculosis, llegó hasta el 28%, y de ellos el cáncer broncopulmonar ocupó el primer lugar. Los pacientes tuberculosos bacilíferos resistentes a alguna droga antituberculosa llegaron a un 49% y dentro de ellos un 11% lo fueron a la isoníacida. De un total de 41 pacientes positivos microscópicamente, el 15% falleció y el 78% completó su tratamiento; de éstos, todos nega- tivizaron sus esputos entre 6 y 12 meses de tratamiento. Se hacen comentarios sobre los hallazgos, insistiendo en algunos aspectos del diagnóstico.Downloads
