Estudio de la función de las paratiroídes mediante la prueba del EDTA después de la terapéutica con 131 I
Abstract
Se empleó la prueba del etllendlaminotetraacétlco (EDTA) para estudiar la capacidad funcional de las paratiroídes en 17 pacientes que previamente habían sido tratados con 1311 por presentar bocio tóxico difuso. Las calcemias a las 2 h y 4 h de haber comenzado la prueba, mostraron valores inferiores al grupo control y la diferencia fue estadísticamente significativa (p<0,05). La incidencia de hipoparatiroidismo "latente" o "frustre" en nuestra serie fue del 47%.Downloads
