Técnica del diptongo El en la laringoscopia indirecta
Abstract
Se plantean los antecedentes del origen de la Laringología en el mundo. Se hace referencia al maestro de canto Manuel García, precursor de la Laringología. Se refieren los métodos usuales para realizar la laringoscopia en el niño y el adulto. Se presenta un estudio en 80 pacientes adultos, de los cuales 12 tenían ptosis de la epiglotis y 8 marcada hiperreflexia faríngea. De los 8 con hiperreflexia, 5 fueron atendidos por la técnica del diptongo y los otros 3 remitidos a laringoscopia directa. El resto fue atendido por la variante El. Este trabajo se fundamenta en la realización de un diagnóstico precoz de las afecciones laríngeas, que en algunas oportunidades presentan un pronóstico reservado o grave.Downloads
