Púrpura trombocitopénica trombótica con necrosis extensa de piel y tejido subcutáneo. Presentación de un caso

Abstract

Se señala la aparición de áreas hemorrágico-Janqrenosas que pueden extenderse a tejidos más profundos, como manifestación cutánea rara de la púrpura trombocitopénica trombótica (PTT). Se da a conocer en este trabajo un caso de PTT en una mujer de 30 años que presentó este tipo de lesiones en tronco, abdomen y extremidades, las cuales ocasionaron la destrucción casi total de la mama derecha y profundas ulceraciones en las regiones superiores y anterolaterales de ambos muslos, dejando expuestos el fémur y la cápsula de la articulación coxofemor&l. Se plantea que en la literatura revisada sólo se ha encontrado un caso con similares características, descrito en 1957, el cual evolucionó inexorablemente hacia la muerte al igual que el nuestro.
