Diabetes mellitus y trastornos endocrinos. Estudio de 110 necropsias
Abstract
Se revisaron los protocolos de necropsias de 110 pacientes diabéticos fallecidos en el período comprendido entre 1976-1980 en el hospital general docente “Enrique Cabrera". Las glándulas endocrinas más afectadas fueron la tiroides 11%, las adrenales 7,3% y el ovario 5,4%. Se comparan nuestros resultados con un estudio similar realizado en el Instituto de Endocrinología y Enfermedades Metabólicas, así como en un grupo control. Se analizan algunas causas etiológicas, siendo la teoría autoinmune la de mayor relevancia.Downloads
