Autoanticuerpos antiplaquetarios en la fiebre hemorrágica por dengue
Abstract
Se investiga la presencia de autoanticuerpos antiplaquetarios mediante la prueba de inmunofluorescencia directa sobre suspensión plaquetaria (PSIFT), en 25 pacientes adultos con el diagnóstico de fiebre hemorrágica por dengue (FHD), que presentaban trombocitopenia, con manifestaciones hemorrágicas, y sin ellas durante la epidemia de 1981 causada por el serotipo 2. Los resultados obtenidos no concuerdan con algunos de los comunicados en la literatura. Se discuten las ventajas de la técnica empleada sobre los precedentes en la detección de autoanticuerpos y la posibilidad de que los resultados previos sean realmente falsos positivos causado por la presencia de inmunocomplejos circulantes, agregados y aumento de la concentración sérica de las inmunoglobulinas, entre otros, factores presentes en esta enfermedad.Downloads
