Abstract

El estudio de la epidemiología de la FHD nos conduce a los siguientes resultados: Esta enfermedad la produce el virus del dengue, el cual puede aparecer en cuatro tipos: dengue I, II, III y IV. Este virus dengue es el agente causal de los cuadros de dengue clásico y FHD. La propagación de este cuadro estará garantizada donde exista suficiente densidad humana y de mosquitos. El Aedes aegypti es el principal agente transmisor de la enfermedad.
