El metabolismo de los glúcidos en la cefalalgia migrañosa crónica
Abstract
Se estudian 18 pacientes que presentan cefalea migrañosa crónica, mediante pruebas de tolerancia a la glucosa, comprobándose en el 66,6% de los mismos, que presentaron un trastorno del metabolismo de los glúcidos. Esto fue mucho más frecuente (83,3%) en la migraña clásica. La tendencia hipoglicémicá parece ser un factor importante en la fisiopatología de este cuadro, que afecta el 4% de la población. En el mismo se invocan mecanismos vasculares, hemáticos, bioeléctricos, psíquicos y humorales. Ss revisa la literatura y se exponen los resultados obtenidos, planteándose una conducta terapéutica que toma en cuenta estos factores.Downloads
