Estudio de pacientes ingresados por infarto cardiaco. 1072—1070

Abstract

Se realiza un análisis de los pacientes ingresados en el Hospital General de Güines con el diagnóstico de infarto del miocardio en los años comprendidos entre 1972 y 1976. Se estudian distintos aspectos da las historias clínica* revisadas, tales como: total de pacientes egresados vivos y fallecidos; edad; sexo; raza; ocupación laboral; hábito de fumar; antecedentes de dolor anginoso; antecedentes de infarto; cifras elevadas de glice- mia sin antecedentes de diabetes; empleo de anticoagulantes; localización del infarto; resultado de la transaminasa glutamicoxalacética; enfermedades asociadas; complicaciones; y promedio de estadía. Se comparan los datos obtenidos con estudios realizados en nuestro país y en el extranjero.
