Hemoglobinopatía S homocigótica. Características físicas y radiología ósea en 60 pacientes tanzanianos
Abstract
Se hace la descripción clínicorradiológica de 60 pacientes homocigóticos con anemia por hematíes falciformes, estudiados en Mwanza, Tanzania. Se comentan los hallazgos más sobresalientes y se concluye que aunque ninguna de las lesiones radiológicas observadas es patognomónica de la enfermedad, la combinación de varias de ellas es altamente sospechosa, sobre todo si se presenta en un individuo con las características físicas descritas en este tipo de anemia.Downloads
