Niveles de hormona de crecimiento en la acromegalia
Abstract
En 14 pacientes con acromegalia se analizó el tipo de respuesta en los niveles plasmáticos de hGH y glicemia a la sobrecarga de glucosa, hipoglicemia inducida por insulina regular y administración de L-dopa. No se encontró relación entre el tipo de respuesta a estos estímulos con el grado de actividad clíníca ni con la localización de la lesión. Todos los pacientes presentaron niveles basales elevados de hGH. Las pruebas dinámicas realizadas tienen escaso valor en el diagnóstico positivo y el pronóstico de la acromegalia.Downloads
