Fiebre tifoidea: estudio de 55 casos
Abstract
Se realiza un estudio en 55 enfermos de fiebre tifoidea ingresados en la sala de infecciones del hospital provincial docente "Manual Ascunce Domenech" de Camagüey; todos los casos presentaron la sospecha clínica de la enfermedad, la cual se confirmó en 30 pacientes (54,5%) por hemocultivqs, en 27 (49%) por coprocultivos, en 2 (6,2%) por bi- licultivos y en 1 (6,6%) por urocultivo. En todos los casos el diagnóstico siempre fue confirmado por los cultivos, siendo otros exámenes de laboratorio de gran utilidad. En r^fa serie no se realizaron reacciones de aglutinación. La respuesta al tratamiento fue satisfactoria en todos los casos, por lo que nuestra casuística carece de fallecidos. Se hace una comparación de nuestros resultados con otros autores y se revisa la literatura nacional y extranjera.Downloads
