Histología testicular en pacientes con azoospermia
Abstract
Se realizó biopsia testicular bilateral a 110 pacientes con azoospermia. En 107 casos se halló el mi smo patrón histológico en ambos testículos, la frecuencia de cada patrón histológico fue la siguiente: hialinización tubular, 40,9%; aplasia germinal, 27,3%; hipoes-p ermatogénesis, 15,4%; testículos inmaduros, 6,4%; hípoespermatogénesis unilateral con hialinización tubular o aplasia germinal contralateral, 2,7% y arresto de la espermatogénesis 0,9%. Las causas más frecuentes de hialinización tubular fueron el síndrome de Klinefelter (73,3%) y la orquitis urliana (13,4%). Las posibles causas de aplasia germinal más comunes fueron las infecciones seminales (33,4%) y el síndrome de Klinefelter (20,0%). Se observó que diferentes agentes físicos son capaces de provocar estas lesio nes graves del epitelio germinal.Downloads
