Hipoglicemia inducida con la infusión endovenosa de bajas dosis de insulina regular en perros normales
Abstract
Se realiza un trabajo experimental en dos grupos de perros normoglicémicos, a los cuales se le administra pequeñas dosis de insulina regular por dos métodos diferentes, a saber, infusión endovenosa continua y administración única directa endovenosa, con la finalidad de evaluar las ventajas de uno u otro método. La infusión endovenosa continua de 2,5 U/hora, garantizó un descenso paulatino y estable durante el período de observación, que no fue observado con la administración de una dosis única directa, todo lo cual induce su mayor eficacia; por esto se indica este método como de elección en el tratamiento de las cetoacidosis diabéticas.Downloads
