Nuevos usos terapéuticos de las drogas antagonistas de los receptores beta-adrenérgicos
Abstract
Las drogas con propiedades bloqueadoras de los receptores beta-adrenérgicos (betabloqueadores) han demostrado su eficacia en el tratamiento de las principales enfermedades cardiovasculares, como son: hipertensión arterial,1’2 angina de pecho1’3 y algunos tipos de arritmias cardíacas.1'1 Las acciones antihipertensiva y antianginosa están relacionadas directamente con el bloqueo competitivo de los receptores beta-adrenérgicos (betaO, aunque otras acciones como son bloqueo de la captación intraneuronal,5 disminución de la liberación de noradrenalina de las terminaciones simpáticas periféricas,"'7 o una acción bloqueadora de la neurona adrenérgica,8 se indican en el mecanismo de acción antihipertensiva de estas drogas.Downloads
