La hipertensión arterial en la comunidad

Abstract

Se estudian los pacientes dispensarizados en el subprograma de hipertensión arterial, en dos sectores del Policlínico Comunitario Reina, en un período de 6 meses. Además de los datos recogidos en la anamnesis y examen físico se realizaron pruebas radiográficas, de laboratorio clínico y psíquicas. Después de aplicado el tratamiento se mantuvo el examen periódico de los pacientes, evaluando su evolución. Las características del policlínico en la comunidad permiten la atención integral de estos enfermos, y su estudio se complementa, en casos especiales, en el hospital.
