Sobre la sensibilidad de estafilococos aislados en los hospitales de Santiago de Cuba a la benzilpenicilina, penicilinas semisintéticas y ceporán
Abstract
Se estudió el nivel de la sensibilidad de más de 200 cepas de estafilococos aislados, en los hospitales de Santiago de Cuba durante el primer semestre del año 1977, a la benzilpenicilina, ampicillín, meticillin, oxacillin y ceporán. La concentración mínima inhibitoria (MIC) se determinó por el método de las diluciones dobles en agar. La sensibilidad de los estafilococos estudiados se clasificó en cuatro grupos: 1) sensibles: 2) de sensibilidad media; 3) resistencia moderada; 4) resistentes. Para prevenir la propagación de los estafilococos resistentes se recomienda antes de empezar el tratamiento con antibióticos, determinar la MIC de los mismos. Se debe restringir el uso de los antibióticos semi- sintéticos con el objetivo de guardarlos como reserva.Downloads
