Línea terapéutica en la tartamudez: ¿ . . . Psicoterapia? ¿ . . . Logoterapia?
Abstract
Se expone el criterio de base cientificorracional para el enfoque terapéutico correcto de la tartamudez o espasmofemia funcional, considerando dicho trastorno, no como un "síntoma" neurótico, sino como una afección somática definida, de carácter epifenoménico reaccional en sus inicios, y que posee toda una estructura eslabonada lógicamente, lo que representa, por tanto, un sistema intelectual consciente, de asentamiento fundamentalmente fisicopatológico. Sobre la base de la anterior concepción, opuesta a la psico- patológica —en particular a la psicoanalítica— se exponen las razones para considerar la logoterapia como la conducta terapéutica idónea en la tartamudez; la psicoterapia se ubica como coadyuvante, siempre determinada y condicionada por las repercusiones del desorden verbal sobre la personalidad.Downloads
