La ecoencefalografía en el diagnóstico de las enfermedades del sistema nervioso
Abstract
Se Informan los resultados obtenidos mediante la ecoencefalografía al estudiar 40 enfermos tratados en el servicio de neuroclrugía del hospital provincial docente “V. I. Lenin", de Holguín. Se Informa la técnica empleada y se señala que de 40 estudios realizados, en 29 los resultados normales y en 11 no. Las ecoencefalografías cuyos resultados no fueron normales correspondieron a 5 hematomas subdurales, 2 hematomas intraparenquitamosos asociados a hemorragias subaracnoideas; 3 tumores cerebrales y 1 por encefalia. Para concluir, se tuvieron en cuenta los resultados obtenidos en la serie, así como la experiencia acumulada hasta ahora de que la ecoencefalografía constituye la primera investigación que debe realizarse a los enfermos con afección nerviosa, y que los desplazamientos del eco medio permiten sospechar la existencia de lesiones expansivas intracraneales.Downloads
