Estudio del zinc en el suero de un grupo de individuos con hipertensión arterial esencial
Abstract
Se seleccionan un grupo de individuos con hipertensión arterial esencial y otro como control, con edad y procedencia geográfica similares. Se obtiene sangre total, se procesa el suero y se mide en éste la concentración de zinc, por espectrofotometría de absorción atómica. Los datos obtenidos revelan menor concentración de zinc en el suero de los individuos con hipertensión arterial, comparados con los del grupo testigo; estas diferencias son significativas estadísticamente. A su vez, los individuos hipertensos muestran una relación inversamente proporcional entre la concentración de zinc en suero y las cifras de tensión arterial. Se plantea la posibilidad experimental terapéutica del uso del zinc, en la hipertensión arterial esencial.Downloads
