Tratamiento del asma bronquial con el dipropionato de beclometasona

Abstract

Se exponen los resultados obtenidos en el tratamiento, durante seis meses con dipro- pionato de beclometasona, administrado a 25 pacientes portadores de asma bronquial, esteroides dependientes; puede concluirse que en el 60% del tota! los resultados clínicos y funcionales fueron excelentes; en el 60% fueron clínicamente evidentes, así como también, que el tratamiento resultó satisfactorio para el 96% de los pacientes. Se analiza la incidencia de complicaciones y de efectos secundarios. Se especula sobre los factores que pudieran influir en los resultados del tratamiento. Se valora la supresión de esteroides de efecto sistémico y se hacen conclusiones.
