La poliquimioterapia en los linfomas en etapas avanzadas
Abstract
Se plantea que en el tratamiento de los linfomas en etapas avanzadas se han utilizado múltiples drogas citostáticas, así como también, que con la combinación de varias de ellas, las posibilidades de control y supervivencia han aumentado notablemente. Se presentan los resultados obtenidos con la utilización combinada de ciclofosfamida, vincris- tina, procarbazina y prednisona, en ciclos mensuales (6 ciclos en total), en 16 pacientes con enfermedad de Hodgkin, linfosarcomas y reticulosarcomas. Se obtuvo un 68,7% de remisiones completas, y un 18,7% de remisiones parciales, con un total de respuestas al tratamiento que hacen el 87,5%. Se concluye que al año de iniciados los tratamientos, el 43,7% de los pacientes se encontraban vivos y sin signos de actividad tumoral, así como también, que los mejores resultados fueron obtenidos en los pacientes con enfermedad de Hodgkin.Downloads
