Alergia a la insulina
Abstract
Se presentan 4 pacientes diabéticos con alergia insulínica y manifestaciones generalizadas. Son pacientes de edad avanzada, con diabetes no insulino —dependiente, y dos tenían antecedentes de alergia. Dos pacientes desarrollaron la reacción alérgica desde el primer momento del tratamiento, y los otros dos al resumir la medicación insulínica. Se analizan los distintos tipos de manifestaciones alérgicas registradas y su incidencia en este grupo. Se hace una breve discusión de la posible etiopatogenia de este trastorno y se enumeran las medidas terapéuticas utilizadas, con énfasis en el método de desensibilización que resultó exitoso en 3 de nuestros pacientes, y que puede salvar la vida de un paciente con cetoacidosis diabética.Downloads
