Aspergiloma: Consideraciones diagnósticas y presentación de un caso con micetomas bilaterales

Abstract

Se presenta un caso de Aspergilomas bilaterales, que según la literatura médica del país, revisada en los últimos diez años, es el primero que se publica. El diagnóstico fue clínico, radiológico y confirmado por el crecimiento del hongo en la secreción bronquial por broncoaspiración. Se revisan las técnicas diagnósticas más modernas y algunas de ellas no fueron posible realizarlas por no encontrarse aún desarrolladas en nuestro Centro. El tratamiento quirúrgico no fue posible por hallarnos ante lesiones bilaterales en un paciente de 70 años, no cooperador y con una función respiratoria precaria.
