Características clínicas del clínicas del síndrome de Sheehan. Propósito de 14 casos
Abstract
Presentamos los resultados del estudio de las características clínicas de 14 pacientes portadores del síndrome de Sheehan. Se confirma una vez más la existencia de esta enfermedad en la raza negra, en primíparas, después de partos prematuros y de partos normales sin hemorragia o shock. Analizamos las manifestaciones resultantes del déficit gonadotrópico, tirotrópico, adrenocorticotrópico y somalotrópico. así como su frecuencia en esta serie, y comparamos resultados con otras series. Se reporta un hallazgo excepcional en este síndrome: la melanodermia, y se sugiere que en pacientes con este signo, el “hipopituitarismo” puede ser secundario a un trastorno hipotalámico.Downloads
