Importancia de la quinesiterapia respiratoria en el tratamiento del asma bronquial y otras insuficiencias respiratorias

Abstract

Hacemos una breve revisión histórica del desarrollo de la quinesiterapia respiratoria en el tratamiento del asma alérgica y de insuficiencias pulmonares crónicas, principalmente en el enfisema pulmonar crónico, refiriéndonos al desarrollo de este sistema en el Hospital Docente Cmdte. Manuel Fajardo. Exponemos los resultados favorables haciendo una clasificación basándonos en las observaciones clínicas. Recomendamos un mínimo de ejercicios a ser realizados por los pacientes en sus domicilios cuya técnica es explicada. Se llega a las conclusiones del efecto altamente beneficioso de la quinesiterapia respiratoria en el tratamiento de las afecciones ya citadas y se recomienda el establecimiento de centros especializados en esta técnica que se relacionen íntimamente con los centros de alergología del país.
