Esofagitis caustica
Abstract
Hemos escogido la esofagitis cáustica como tema de nuestro trabajo por habernos sido posible estudiar 24 casos de esta afección, seguir su evolución durante un período no menor de un año y haber obtenido buenos resultados en casi la totalidad de los mismos mediante el tratamiento médico por dilataciones. Así hemos evitado la complicación más temible de esta afección, la estenosis cicatricial del esófago, que invalida a estos pacientes y les impide usar dicho órgano para su nutrición, haciéndolos tributarios de procedimientos quirúrgicos complicados y de resultados a veces no muy satisfactorios.Downloads
