Caso típico de reticulosis linfoide disproteinémica o enfermedad de Waldenstróm. Primera observación en Cuba
Abstract
Presentamos un caso típico de enfer-medad de Waldenstróin con el cuadro clínico y hematológico propio de esta afección. Se recalca la importancia de la inmunoelectroforesis, el estudio de la viscosidad de la sangre y su coeficiente, la hiperinmunización del conejo y, sobre todo, de las pruebas de Sia con estudio electroforético antes y después de la precipitación de la macroglobulina, así como de las pruebas de Saifer y Thorling gracias a las cuales se completó este estudio, dada la correspondencia de las mismas con la ultracentrifugación, investigación ésta cuyo informe aún no hemos recibido de Praga, a donde remitimos una muestra del suero de la paciente. El autor estima que con este proceder no se dependerá de la ultracentrifugación y que así otros casos serán diagnosticados en Cuba.Downloads
