Abstract

El concepto de enfermedad mielo- proliferativa incluye una serie de he- mopatías cuyo común denominador es una proliferación exagerada de la médula ósea. Esta afecta a los distintos sistemas medulares en grado variable, que ha de ser predominante (en ulterior fase evolutiva de dicha mieloproliferación) para determinado sistema, ya el eritropoyético, el leucopoyético o el megacariopoyético; integrándose así, ya en esta etapa posterior, los cuadros clínicos y hematológicos de las referidas entidades mieloproliferativas.
