Fundamento clínico para la investigación del colesterol sanguíneo
Abstract
Las enfermedades que alteran los lí-pidos sanguíneos y entre estos el coles-terol, son conocidas por dislipidosis, pu- diendo ser congénitas y adquiridas. Las primeras son debidas a errores congénitos del metabolismo en los que por trastornos de cierta? enzimas sistémicas se producen aumento de los lípidos de la sangre y de los tejidos, o de ambos a la vez. Las adquiridas son producidas, unas veces por enfermedades conocidas, como la diabetes y las nefrosis entre otras, mientras que en ocasiones la causa es desconocida, como en la xantomatosis e histiocitosis.Downloads
