Experiencia derivada de una práctica social realizada por alumnos de Medicina

Abstract

Como Profesor de Psicología Médica en la Escuela de Medicina de la Universidad de la Habana, venimos dirigiendo desde hace cinco años, una actividad docente a la que hemos concedido importancia especial. Se trata de lo que denominamos “Práctica Social”, consistente en la realización por los alumnos de visitas a la familia de un paciente ingresado en un Hospital CON el objeto de establecer en el estudiante nuevas dimensiones en el enfoque del hombre enfermo, integrando las vertientes psicológicas y sociales y la somática; ésta última fuertemente fijada por razón obvia de su educación inicial.
