Intoxicación alimenticia. Estudio epidemiológico de un brote( * ) Conocimiento del problema y formulación de la hipotesis
Abstract
El día 30 de agosto de 1965. hubo de producirse en la Regional Caibarién, un brote de intoxicación alimenticia que abarcó casos que hubieron de ser atendidos en Unidades asistenciales pertenecientes a cuatro municipios. Por el cuadro clínico que presentaron los enfermos, el hecho de que la mayoría de ellos eran miembros de una misma familia y el de haber comenzado su sintomatología durante el mismo período de tiempo en todos ellos, hizo pensar que se trataban de casos de intoxicación alimenticia. Notificados los Departamentos de Higiene y Epidemiología respectivos se procedió a determinar el número de enfermos notificados, así como de los expuestos, para determinar la tasa de ataque.Downloads
