Infecciones virales exceptuando las producidas por enterovirus
Abstract
Los virus representan un amplio grupo de agentes infectivos, claramente delimitados dentro del grupo de la microbiología, en base a la estructura química de los mismos, constituida por uno de los ácidos nucleicos, responsable de su poder infeccioso y una cubierta proteica organizada en subunidades, llamadas capsómeros, que en su conjunto reciben el nombre de cápsida y en virtud de la cual adquieren su carácter antigénico. Otra particularidad que tienen es la imposibilidad de reproducirse en forma libre, siendo para ello necesario ponerse en contacto con una célula sensible a la cual infectan.Downloads
