Alteraciones electrocardiográficas en la comisurotomia mitral transventricular

Abstract

El empleo de la comisurotomia mitral por la vía transventricular, utilizada desde hace más de los años en el Servicio de Cirugía Cardiovascular del Hospital “Comandante M. Fajardo”,’ como conducta quirúrgica para aquellos casos de estenosis mitral más severos o que fuese imposible realizar la dilatación transauricular, nos llevó a hacer una revisión electrocardiográfica pre y postoperatoria de estos casos; con el objetivo, principalmente, de observar si la ventriculotoniía que se realiza a nivel del ventrículo izquierdo, era capaz de ocasionar alteraciones inmediatas o tardías distintas a las observadas por la comisurotomia transauricular.
