Abstract

Con justificada razón Rutherford T. Johnstone ha llamado la atención sobre el frecuente error de diagnosticar saturnismo, principalmente el saturnismo profesional, sin base cierta para hacerlo; ha dicho este autor que “hay más casos de envenenamiento discutibles que casos reales de intoxicación por el plomo’’, y nosotros, sobre nuestra experiencia de más de 20 años, podemos afirmar que en Cuba esa es también la regla.
