Gangrena bilateral simétrica en el curso de la Insuficiencia Cardiaca

Abstract

La gangrena simétrica periférica asociada a un colapso vascular prolongado o en el curso de la insuficiencia cardíaca es un hecho poco frecuente.  En la literatura se reportan algunos casos asociados a un colapso vascular prolongado en el curso del infarto miocárdico agudo y en el curso de la insuficiencia cardíaca. Esta complicación muy rara vez ha sido vista en nuestro medio, ya que revisando los archivos de nuestro Hospital Universitario General Calixto García, nos encontramos con 239 casos de insu-ficiencia cardíaca y 64 casos de infarto del miocardio y en ninguno de ellos se reporta esta complicación a excepción hecha del caso motivo de nuestro reporte.
