Edema agudo del pulmón en la epilepsia
Abstract
Se reportan por primera vez en la literatura dos casos con edema agudo del pulmón poscrisis epilépticas en las que el cateterismo cardíaco no demostró patología cardiovascular. Se revisa la literatura y se llama a la atención sobre la posibilidad de una mayor frecuencia de esta complicación. Se sugiere que esta complicación se relaciona con el tipo de crisis y no con la etiología de la epilepsia (crisis convulsivas tonicoclónicas generalizadas). Se revisa la etiopatogenia del edema agudo pulmonar y se insiste en mejorar cada día más las formas de control de la epilepsia por parte de los servicios externos, a fin de evitar esta y otras complicaciones de la misma.Downloads
