Abstract

Se presentan los resultados obtenidos con la gammagrafía cerebral en el estudio de 100 pacientes portadores de síndromes neurológicos. Se discuten los resultados comparándose con los reportados por otros autores; se destaca que la gammagrafía cerebral fue positiva en el 81% de los enfermos con diagnóstico de proceso expansivo intracraneal supratentorial, en el 46% de los accidentes vasculares encefálicos, en el 21% de los epilécticos y en el 50% de los pacientes con malformación arteriovenosa. Ningún caso con hipertensión endocraneana benigna presentó gammagrafía positiva. Se concluye expresando que los radiofármacos presentan alta precisión en el diagnóstico neurológico y que su correlación con las investigaciones neurorradiológicas contrastadas permiten una decisión terapéutica más eficaz.
